Zubereitung

if you want them firmer, continue baking at 160°C for another 20 minutes).
  • Heat 900 ml water, the rum (Jagertee or mulled wine), 400 grams fine sugar, and the seeds from the vanilla pod until just below boiling.
  • Place the babas in the hot syrup for 2 minutes so they can fully soak up the syrup.
