
Peach jam
Making jam is an ideal way to preserve your summer fruit.Ingredients
1kgPeaches
1kggelling sugar
1Lemon
Preparation
- Score the peaches crosswise and dip them in boiling water for 8 seconds.
- Peel the peaches, cut them in half, and remove the pit.
- Cut the flesh into coarse pieces.
- Heat the peach together with the gelling sugar and the juice of one lemon to 105°C. If there is foam on the jam, skim it off.
- Fill the jars with jam.
