Pizza mozzarella and smoked meatballs

Pizza mozzarella and smoked meatballs prepared with the Champions' Choice sauce and Mother of all rubs from the Pitmaster Collection.

Ingredients

16Cherry tomatoes
Tomato sauce
garlic rosemary oil
Mother of all rubs Pitmaster Collection
400gGround beef
2heaping tablespoons Champions' Choice sauce Pitmaster Collection
Pizza dough
Parmesan cheese (finely grated)
4potatoes, cooked in skin
2balls of mozzarella

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 5 millimeter thick slices, halve the cherry tomatoes, and tear the mozzarella.
  2. Mix the minced meat with 2 heaping tablespoons of Champions' Choice sauce and season with Mother of all rubs.
  3. Form small balls from the minced meat and smoke at 75°C. Then brush the balls again with Champions's Choice sauce.
  4. Preheat the pizza oven to 300°C.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough and spread with 1 spoon of tomato sauce.
  6. Top the pizza with potato slices, 8 halved cherry tomatoes, meatballs, and mozzarella. Then bake the pizza
