Tea Violette

The Tea Violette is a cocktail based on Earl Grey tea, gin, violet syrup, and mint.

Ingredients

10mlMonin violet syrup
1Bag of Mondiano Earl Grey tea
40mlGin
100mlBoiling water
Ice cubes
0.5Lime

Preparation

  1. Brew a cup of Earl Grey tea and let it cool.
  2. Add the violet syrup to the tea and stir well.
  3. Pour the tea mixture and gin into a cocktail shaker filled with plenty of ice.
  4. Squeeze the juice of half a lime and add it to the shaker.
  5. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds and strain the cocktail into a glass.
  6. Garnish with a sprig of mint and an edible violet for a beautiful presentation.
