Beaulieu Vineyard Tapestry 2018 is a red wine from Napa Valley, composed of five Bordeaux grape varieties. Cabernet Sauvignon forms the basis and gives the wine aromas of blackberry, blueberry, cassis and black cherry compote, complemented by a hint of anise. Merlot adds ripe notes of plum and dark cherry and provides a rounded structure. Malbec brings fresh accents of wild raspberry, while Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot complete the blend with dark fruit, savory nuances and subtle floral notes of violets and wild sage. Maturation in new French oak gives integrated notes of mocha and molasses. The wine has a firm yet velvety tannin structure and a long, layered finish.
