The colour is deep crimson red. On the nose, aromas of dried cranberries and ripe black fruit, accented by spicy notes. The palate is powerful and intense with impressions of rich red cherries and plums, vanilla, cedarwood, leather, tobacco and cocoa. The finish shows an excellent tannin structure that reveals the ageing potential of this vintage.
