In 1689, William of Orange traveled from the Netherlands to London, bringing with him a Dutch drink: gin. Safe to say it became a great success! In 2016, two friends from Amsterdam made the same journey, inspired to make the same gin according to the original recipe from 1689. Once again a hit. The two friends discovered one of the very first gin recipes in the archives of the British Library and brought it back to life as Gin 1689. The Dutch Dry and Pink editions are a taste of the truly authentic gin. And they are certainly worth the 300-year wait. The 1689 Dutch Pink Gin is a premium pink gin and also the very first pink gin from the Netherlands. The 'original' Gin 1689 is used as the base for the pink variant. It is distilled with raspberry and strawberry. Serve this Pink Gin, for example, mixed with premium tonic and garnish with a beautiful raspberry and/or strawberry.
