First created in 1976 by the 5th generation of the Krug family, Krug Rosé is an unexpected champagne inspired by the renowned art of blending of the Maison, recreated each year. The blend is based around the wines of 2017 and expresses a lush fruit character in all its forms: yellow and red, fresh and jam-like. Reserve wines from four other years add depth, richness, and a soft, velvety texture to the palate. Fruity and pastry notes of raspberry charlotte and ladyfingers give way to dried plum and elegant blood orange, with enticing bitters of pink grapefruit on the finish.
