Lion & The Lily Bordeaux Claret is a smooth red wine from the Bordeaux region, made mainly from Merlot grapes from young vines. Due to a short maceration and low-temperature fermentation, the wine remains fresh, fruity and approachable in character. On the nose, aromas of red fruit such as strawberry and cherry dominate. On the palate, the wine is soft and rounded with fine, subtle tannins and a lightly sweet note that provides balance. The finish is fresh and fruity.
