Proventus is made from 100% tempranillo which is hand-harvested. After the fermentation process, the wine matures for another 12 months in new barrels, 50% American oak and 50% French oak. In Proventus, the true tempranillo character returns; ripe black fruit, blackberries, figs, and dates. The mouthfeel is fine with a lot of good structures and a beautiful balance. The tannins are nicely ripe and round, which ensures a beautiful finish. Delicious with, for example, game, red meat, and ham.
