
Baba orange & thyme
Excitingly served with 'thyme smoke'.Ingredients

100mlCointreau

Fresh thyme
Preparation
- Heat water with sugar and orange juice with the vanilla seeds and the scraped pod, until the sugar is dissolved.
- Cut the orange peel (without the white) into fine julienne and add.
- Then add the Cointreau.
- Soak the baba in the syrup until saturated.
- Spoon some of the syrup and orange peel into a glass.
- Place the baba on top.
- Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream (and optionally softly whipped cream) on the baba.
- Put some thyme in the smoker holder.
- Place it on the glass.
- Light the thyme and place the cover on top so the thyme smoke fills the glass.
