
French toast with boerenmeisjes and cinnamon ice cream

100gCream
sugar to taste

140gWhole milk
10gbrandy from boerenmeisjes
2units.itemsEggs
100gSugar
2Cinnamon powder
cinnamon ice cream
Preparation
- Cut the boerenmeisjes into a fine brunoise.
- Mix mascarpone with the cream until smooth.
- Add sugar and the boerenmeisjes.
- Cut the top with icing off the carrot cake.
- Cut this into a fine brunoise.
- Mix all the ingredients for the batter.
- Dip the frozen slice of carrot cake in the batter and fry in butter on both sides until warm.
- Serve the cream of 'boerenmeisjes' on the 'french toast'.
- Scoop a ball of cinnamon ice cream on top.
- Garnish with the brunoise from the 'icing' side of the cake.
