
Strawberry jam
Making jam is an ideal way to preserve your summer fruit.Ingredients

660gGranulated sugar
1kgStrawberries
25gCitric acid
Preparation
- Wash the strawberries and gently pat them dry with a clean cloth.
- Remove the stems from the strawberries and cut the large strawberries in half.
- Put the fruit together with the sugar and pectin in a pan, slowly heat the mixture to 105°C.
- Remove the pan from the heat and add the citric acid (and optionally flavorings such as fresh mint).
- Fill the jars with jam.
