250gKumar's rendang
500gbeef chuck, cut into cubes
Preparation
- Sear the sliced beef chuck all around in the ghee.
- Add the sliced shallot and briefly sauté with the beef. Add Kumar's rendang and the coconut milk. Let the mixture simmer on low heat with a lid on the pan until the desired tenderness is reached.
- The rendang is ready when it has a dark color and the dish starts to thicken slightly. Spoon rice into a bowl, top with the rendang and a lime wedge. Serve with flatbread.
