Roti with fried chicken and sambal

Enjoy a delicious dish with Surinamese roti, crispy fried chicken, and a spicy sambal.

Ingredients

Crème fraîche
canned corn kernels
roti sambal-tomato
Chicken bites
Iceberg lettuce
yardlong beans
Roasted peanuts
Bean sprouts

Preparation

  1. Moisten the roti sheets and heat them in a frying pan.
  2. Fry the breaded chicken pieces until crispy. Count about 6 pieces per sandwich.
  3. Mix the roti sambal with crème fraîche and some canned corn to taste.
  4. Place iceberg lettuce, fried bean sprouts, and blanched yardlong beans on the roti sheet.
  5. Place the warm chicken on the roti sheet, garnish with the sauce, and finally sprinkle some roasted peanuts on top.
