
Sriracha chicken with honey
Delicious Sriracha chicken from the slow cooker with honey.Ingredients
125mlChicken broth
0.25Black pepper
125mlSoy sauce
3Garlic cloves
0.5Ginger powder
1kgchicken breast, boneless
125mlSriracha sauce
125mlHoney
125mlRice vinegar
2Cornstarch
Preparation
- Whisk together the Sriracha, chicken stock, honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, ginger powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce into a slow cooker, followed by the chicken, and stir well. Place the lid on the pot and cook for 3 hours on low.
- Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set aside. Mix the cornstarch with the sauce until well combined and no lumps remain.
- Cut the chicken into large pieces and return to the slow cooker.
- Put the lid on and cook for another hour on high.
- Serve with basmati rice or quinoa.
