Wasabi in tempura

Tip: Only fry the tempura batter into creative crisps. Use a spoon to let thin streams of the wasabi batter fall into the oil and fry until crispy.

Ingredients

Tempura flour
Wasabi powder
smelt
Water

Preparation

  1. Put tempura flour in the food processor. Add some wasabi powder to taste (and optionally a drop of green food coloring).
  2. While running, add cold water until you have a yogurt-thick frying batter. , For example, dip small, frozen smelt in the batter and fry at 180°C, delicious as a small snack.
