A robust Amsterdam wheat beer that is dangerously easy to drink. Slightly hazy, beautifully golden in colour with a fine, soft head. Like every wheat beer, brewed with a portion of wheat malt, from which the beer derives its name (“wit” is an old Dutch word for wheat).
The wheat malt gives the beer a wonderfully fresh flavour. The addition of coriander seed and lemon during brewing provides the lightly spicy and citrus notes. Thanks to the fine, slightly sweet finish, IJwit is a great thirst-quencher.
