The name Allegrini is synonymous in viticulture with passion, foresight, and quality, and represents unparalleled Italian quality worldwide. In 2001, Marilisa Allegrini and her brother Walter were looking for something outside Valpolicella and had always been in love with Bolgheri. There they decided to buy some land and take root in one of the most prestigious wine production areas. And so Poggio al Tesoro was born. This Bolgheri Rosso is made from merlot, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, and petit verdot, carefully harvested and vinified to ensure density and concentration, but also to create a very fresh and easy-drinking style of wine.
