Undoubtedly the least known berry in the Prestige assortment is the kiwi berry. Also called baby kiwi, mini kiwi, or snack kiwi. The taste is aromatic and also resembles that of kiwi, but somewhat sweeter. Kiwi berries are particularly decorative and therefore popular for use in fine pastries and desserts. But also in drinks, salads, or with appetizers, the kiwi berry is a colorful flavor enhancer. The color depends on the variety and ranges from green to red. The berry is sweeter than a regular kiwi, but just as rich in vitamins and minerals. And another advantage, it grows right on Dutch soil. Kiwi berries, or Siberian gooseberries as they are also called, are available in the fall, from the end of August to mid-November.
