The juice of a lemon gives dishes and drinks a fresh citrus flavor. In addition, the juice prevents discoloration, for example of apple. The juicy, light yellow and sour flesh enhances the flavor of other foods and activates and refreshes the taste buds.
These lemons mainly come from Spain, particularly from the Murcia region. From April through July we offer the Verna variety, which has a thick, coarse peel, and from September through March we offer the Primofiori variety, which has a thin, smooth peel. In the month of August they come from Argentina or South Africa.
