The history of the Gruet house has been closely linked to that of the Côte des Bar for the past hundred years. This historic Champagne region is home to many charming villages such as Les Riceys and Neuville sur Seine. Since 1670, the Gruet family has been established in Buxeuil. As a result, there are still some plots named “Bas Gruet” and “Sur Gruet”. These winemakers have passed down their expertise from father to son for generations. This succession continued in 1975 when Claude Gruet produced his first cuvées. Today, Claude Gruet and his wife share their love of vineyards and wines with their son Pierre-Charles. More than just passing on their knowledge, they also share their passion.
