This silica gel is not suitable for consumption! They are moisture-absorbing crystals that extract moisture from the environment, so that the products in the vicinity remain dry. The color of the granules is determined by the moisture indicator. When the humidity level in the air is 'dry' (below 20%RH), the granules are orange in color. When it is humid (above 20%RH), the granules become lighter orange to transparent in color. The orange silica gel is environmentally friendly.
Use:
For using silica gel, take a container with a lid. Poke holes in the lid. Pack the product well-sealed in, for example, a cake box with a plastic bag around it or in a plastic freezer. Place the container with silica gel nearby and regularly check the granules for color. Heat the light orange or transparent silica gel if you want to use it again. Do this in the microwave or oven at a maximum of 70°C, until the color is dark orange again. Now you can use the product again.
