Venus Tinto is a characterful red wine from four carefully selected plots between Pinyana and Crossos, with vineyards aged 25 to 70 years. The vines grow on calcareous, granite-rich sandy soils with both north- and south-facing slopes, providing a good balance between ripeness and freshness. The wine opens with aromas of cherries, berries, and blackberries, complemented by mineral and floral notes. The palate is full and complex, with chalky, ripe tannins and a long, spicy finish.
