Broccolini and orange

This Pulled Oats recipe is for approximately 25 people.

Pulled Oats® is the plant-based alternative to meat. This meat substitute is made from just five ingredients (!): oats, fava beans, peas, and a bit of oil and salt. The product has a nice bite and a neutral flavor; this allows every chef to add their own twist! This versatile meat substitute is delicious both cold and warm, for example in wraps, as an addition to a burrito bowl, for making a vegetarian Bolognese sauce, or great for stir-frying!

Ingredients

1500gPulled Oats
Sesame oil
2500gbroccolini
150gSesame seeds
1kgRed onion
7Oranges
Salt
450mlsweet chili sauce

Preparation

  1. Blanch the broccolini briefly.
  2. Toast the sesame seeds.
  3. Grate the zest of the oranges and cut into segments.
  4. Slice the red onion into rings.
  5. Sauté the red onion for about two minutes in sesame oil, add the Pulled Oats and fry for another two minutes.
  6. Add the broccolini, sesame seeds, grated orange zest, and sweet chili sauce and fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
  7. Serve with orange segments.
