Crêpes with Baileys & caramel crunch

Crêpes with creamy Baileys sauce, salted caramel ice cream and crunchy cookie crumble. Ideal as a dessert.

Ingredients

200gFlour
5Eggs (m)
40gMelted ghee
10gSugar
400mlMilk
Pinch of salt
10Vanilla aroma drops

220mlMilk
Pinch of salt
100gSugar
60gButter
220mlBaileys

Salted caramel ice cream
Caramel sea salt cookies

Preparation

  1. Add the vanilla flavoring to the milk.
  2. Beat the eggs and mix them with the milk.
  3. Add the flour and stir until you have a smooth batter.
  4. Mix in the salt and finally add the melted ghee.
  5. Stir until the batter is even and smooth.
  6. Let the batter rest for 25 minutes.
  7. Then bake the crêpes from the batter.

  1. Heat the milk, Baileys, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Add the butter and let it melt gently.
  4. Let the sauce simmer for a few more minutes on low heat until it reaches a nice sauce consistency.

  1. Crush the caramel sea salt cookies into a fine crumble.
  2. Serve the crêpes with the Baileys sauce, a scoop of salted caramel ice cream, and sprinkle with the cookie crumble.
