
Baked pear with almond paste
A delicious hand pear combined with almond paste and puff pastry.Ingredients
200mlcinnamon liqueur
Almond paste
1Egg yolk
200mlWater
powdered sugar and cinnamon powder
1sheet of puff pastry
1hand pear
Preparation
- Peel a conference pear and core it.
- Heat the water and cinnamon liqueur (do not boil).
- Place the pear in the mixture for about 8 minutes, so it softens slightly and the cinnamon liqueur can infuse. Remove the pear from the liquid and pat dry.
- Fill the hollow space in the pear with almond paste.
- Roll out the puff pastry thinly and cut into strips. Stick these strips from top to bottom, all around the pear.
- Brush with egg yolk and bake in an oven at 180°C until the pastry is light brown.
- Dust with a mix of powdered sugar and cinnamon powder. Serve with vanilla sauce and ice cream.
