Grilled Kingfish Tail
We may source the highest quality fish from our own waters. We are talking about ‘Kingfish Dutch Yellowtail’.Kingfish, also known as Hiramasa, is often imported from Japan and Australia, but this Dutch Yellowtail is farmed on land in waters from the Eastern Scheldt in Zeeland.
Ingredients
Kingfish Dutch Yellowtail tail piece with skin
grill rub (optional)
Salt and pepper
Preparation
- Pat the fish dry.
- Brush both sides with a little olive oil and season with salt and pepper (and optionally a grill rub).
- Prepare the barbecue or preheat a grill pan over medium heat.
- Place the tail skin-side down on the grill and cook for 4 minutes without turning. Flip the fish, lower the temperature, and grill for another 1-2 minutes. (Combine this with your favorite vegetables and/or potatoes, roasted in the oven or also grilled).
