500gType 0 soft wheat flour
275gWater
15gextra virgin olive oil
10gSalt
20gBaker's yeast
8gSugar
Mozzarella
tomato pulp or tomato sauce
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients and knead for 10 minutes until the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
- Place the dough in a bowl greased with oil. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let it rest at room temperature until the dough has doubled in size (about 90 minutes).
- Grease a baking tray and spread the pizza dough on it.
- Add tomato pulp or sauce and bake for 8 to 9 minutes at 230°C-250°C.
- Add the toppings and bake for another 6 to 7 minutes.
