Making jam is an ideal way to preserve your summer fruit.Ingredients
500ggelling sugar
500gBlackberries
1Lemon
Preparation
- Wash the blackberries and put them together with the gelling sugar and the juice of one lemon in a pan.
- Slowly heat the pan to 105°C. If there is foam on the jam, skim it off.
- If you want to add flavors like mint, lemon balm, or basil, do so after removing the jam from the heat source.
- Decide whether you want to puree the jam or keep it chunky.
- Fill the jars with jam.
