Kratong tong tartlet

For these tartelettes, the Kratong ton has been used.

This one comes in two versions: with 2 cups or with 4 cups.

 

Quick tip:

  • Mix tempura flour with water until slightly thicker than yogurt.
  • Season with salt, herbs, or spices.
  • Bake tartlets from it in the same way as with the basic batter.

Ingredients

85gRice flour
85gFlour
Water
salt, spices and herbs to taste
Kratong tong 2 cups

Preparation

  1. Mix the dry components and add just enough water until it is slightly thicker than yogurt.
  2. Sieve and let rest for about 30 minutes.
  3. Stir well again.
  4. Preheat the tongs in oil at 180°C.
  5. Dip in the batter and fry until crispy at 180°C, shaking well during frying so they come loose.
