Crispy padrón bites

Ingredients

whole Padrón peppers
150gFlour
teaspoon powdered sugar
Salt to taste
400mlButtermilk
50gcorn grits

Preparation

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, cornmeal, salt, and buttermilk into a batter.
  2. Dip the peppers in this batter and fry in oil until crispy.
  3. Salt afterwards and serve immediately.
