50mlSparkling water
10mlSugar syrup (1:1)
15mlLime juice
Ice cubes
50mlLaphroaig 10 YO
50ml(Fresh) grapefruit juice
Smoked salt
Lime wedge
Lime slice
Green chili slice
Preparation
- Run a lime wedge along the rim of the glass and dip the glass in the smoked salt.
- Add 50 ml Laphroaig 10 YO, 50 ml grapefruit juice, 15 ml lime juice, and 10 ml sugar syrup along with some ice cubes to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 20 seconds and then strain the contents into the whisky glass filled with ice.
- Top up the glass with 50 ml sparkling water.
- Garnish with a slice of lime and/or green chili for a touch of heat!
