Laphroaig Paloma

The Laphroaig Paloma: where peat, salt, and fire come together in a spicy, refreshing cocktail. Perfect for experiencing Laphroaig in a new way.

Ingredients

50mlSparkling water
10mlSugar syrup (1:1)
15mlLime juice
Ice cubes
50mlLaphroaig 10 YO
50ml(Fresh) grapefruit juice
Smoked salt
Lime wedge
Lime slice
Green chili slice

Preparation

  1. Run a lime wedge along the rim of the glass and dip the glass in the smoked salt.
  2. Add 50 ml Laphroaig 10 YO, 50 ml grapefruit juice, 15 ml lime juice, and 10 ml sugar syrup along with some ice cubes to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds and then strain the contents into the whisky glass filled with ice.
  4. Top up the glass with 50 ml sparkling water.
  5. Garnish with a slice of lime and/or green chili for a touch of heat!
