Mango Lassi

A creamy Indian yogurt drink. This variant is based on mango puree. Recipe by Paulami Joshi. Serves 4-6.There are many different types of lassi, such as with kiwi or rose.

Ingredients

Pistachio
10Cardamom pods
500gWhole yogurt
Almonds
1.5units.eetlepelSugar
Ice cubes (5 to 10)
850gMango puree
Saffron threads

Preparation

  1. Crush the cardamom pods in a mortar. Remove the pods and grind the seeds finely.
  2. Blend the yogurt, mango puree, cardamom, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
  3. Divide the lassi among glasses with ice cubes and sprinkle with the remaining ground cardamom and saffron threads. Garnish with pistachios and/or almonds.
