
Vanilla matcha latte
Matcha is considered one of the healthiest drinks in the world. This Japanese green powdered tea has a special harvesting and production process.Ingredients
1honey or pure maple syrup
2Matcha powder
200mlWater
1vanilla extract or 2 split vanilla pods
100mlCoconut milk
Preparation
- Heat 200 ml water to 70°C.
- Put 2 teaspoons of matcha powder in a bowl and add the heated water.
- Whisk the matcha with a bamboo whisk (or regular whisk) until frothy and creamy.
- Add the vanilla extract and the honey or maple syrup and stir into the matcha.
- Froth the milk and pour it over the tea.
