Merguez sausages in brick pastry

The merguez sausages are made from poultry and are deliciously spicy.

Ingredients

Brick pastry
merguez sausages
Chinese cabbage
Oil
Egg white
Aioli

Preparation

  1. Cook the sausages in a pan until done.
  2. Clean a Chinese cabbage, remove the veins from the leaves, and blanch the leaves in salted water. Pat dry.
  3. Spread a sheet of brick pastry with a little aioli, then place 1 or 2 cabbage leaves on top and 1 merguez sausage.
  4. Roll up tightly (brush the edges with egg white so it sticks well). Then fry in a pan with a little oil until the pastry is crispy.
  5. Cut to the desired size.
