
New York style pastrami sandwich
Pastrami sandwich "New York" style prepared with Panesco Pavé Garde, ideal for delicious trendy sandwiches.Ingredients
mild mustard
Romaine lettuce
herb cheese slices
dwarsliggers (sliced pickles)
Panesco Pavé Garde Chasse
Cole slaw
mango mayonnaise
pastrami whole piece
Preparation
- Let the bread thaw and cut into thick slices.
- Brush with olive oil and toast until crispy on the barbecue or in a grill pan.
- Place the pastrami at a low temperature in a closed barbecue (or smoker) with some wood chips, for about 25 minutes.
- Cut thin slices of the pastrami.
- Spread a slice of toast with soft mustard.
- Place a leaf of romaine lettuce on top.
- Spoon some coleslaw on top and generously add warm slices of pastrami.
- Place one or two "dwarsliggers" on top and then a slice of cheese (melt the cheese with a blowtorch).
- Garnish with the mango mayonnaise and place a second slice of toast on top.
