Pear Pie (Alexander)

Cocktail based on Le Gin Pira, white crème de cacao, and fresh cream.Le Gin Pira is a refined and graceful gin from Normandy, France. This gin has pear as its main ingredient, balanced with botanicals such as juniper, vanilla, lemon, black pepper, and orris root.

Ingredients

30mlFresh cream
30mlCrème de cacao (preferably white)
40mlLe Gin Pira

Preparation

  1. Reverse dry shake: add all ingredients (including cream) to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  2. Strain the cocktail into another shaker without ice.
  3. Now shake the cocktail again, but without ice. This helps to create a thicker, firmer foam.
  4. Pour the contents into a coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with grated nutmeg and optionally cocoa powder.
