Poké bowl with avocado and tuna

Poké is a traditional dish from Hawaii. This delicious, healthy salad bowl is the trend of the moment, featuring fresh fish and vegetables.Start with the basics and fill a beautiful bowl with sushi rice. Then add fresh fish, seaweed salad, dressing, and various toppings. Although the Poké Bowl originally comes from Hawaii, you will also find it in Japanese and other Asian cuisines.

Preparation

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of sushi vinegar to the cooked rice to season it.
  3. Cut the tuna into 1 by 1 centimeter cubes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the tuna with the ponzu citrus soy sauce. Stir well so the marinade can absorb.
  5. Slice the spring onion into thin rings, the carrot into strips, and the avocado into slices.
  6. Slice the baby corn and watermelon radish. Slice the cucumber and roll them up.
  7. Scoop the rice into a bowl.
  8. Arrange the tuna on top with the toppings (avocado, wakame, soybeans, furikake, sesame seeds, etc.).
  9. Serve immediately.
