Spicy tuna bun

Chili bun with spicy tuna salad, wakame, capers, and cheddar. The chili bun is a soft bun with a topping of bell pepper and, how could it be otherwise, chili spices.

Ingredients

tuna in oil
Diced tomatoes
Capers
wakame
Yogurt
sriracha chili sauce
chopped red onion
chili bun
Cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Cut the bun in half.
  2. Rinse the sauerkraut in plenty of water.
  3. Melt some butter with a little brown sugar and cumin to taste.
  4. When the sugar has dissolved, add the squeezed sauerkraut and stew well.
  5. Spread the two halves of bread with the Savora mustard.
  6. Top one slice with the fried sauerkraut.
  7. Fry the chicken tenders until crispy (use two per toastie) and place them on the sauerkraut.
  8. Add a slice of cheese, place the second slice of bread on top, and toast in an oven at 180ÀöC or in a sandwich press until crispy.
