
Crispy chicken bun
Pretzel bun with crispy chicken tenders, sauerkraut, mustard and cheese. This pretzel bun is made according to an old, traditional German recipe. Just as a pretzel should taste.Ingredients

Sauerkraut
Brown soft sugar
Cumin
breaded chicken tenders
Savora mustard
slices of young matured cheese
Butter
Preparation
- Cut the bun in half.
- Rinse the sauerkraut in plenty of water.
- Melt some butter with a little brown sugar and cumin to taste.
- When the sugar has dissolved, add the squeezed sauerkraut and stew well.
- Spread the two halves of bread with Savora mustard.
- Top one slice with the sautéed sauerkraut.
- Fry the chicken tenders until crispy (use two per toastie) and place them on the sauerkraut.
- Add a slice of cheese, place the second slice of bread on top, and toast in an oven at 180˚C or in a sandwich press until crispy.
