Vegan smashburger with potato salad

Vegetarian hamburger based on the Nobeef burger, with a potato salad and vegan mayonnaise.This recipe is for 10 people.

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Dice the potato into brunoise, mix with olive oil, pepper, and salt, and roast them golden brown in the oven.
  2. Meanwhile, finely dice the red onion and slice the spring onion into rings.
  3. Let the roasted potatoes cool and mix them with the vegan mayo, red onion, and spring onion.

  1. Blend the burger relish with the vegan mayo into a smooth sauce.
  2. Slice the white onion paper-thin on the mandoline and divide into ten portions.
  3. Sauté the onion rings per portion and then place a thawed burger on top.
  4. Press the burger flat onto the onions with a spatula and cook the burger.
  5. Flip the burger and top it with a slice of vegan cheddar.
  6. Slice the buns and, if desired, briefly warm them in the oven. 

  1. Spread the buns on both sides with the sauce.
  2. Top the buns with the potato salad, then the burger and the pickle.
  3. Place the top bun on the burger.
