300gMesclun lettuce
3Edible marigolds
10Figs
100gSunflower seeds
1.5Hellmann's Vinaigrette citrus
10Edible violets
3Red chicory hearts
200gParmesan cheese
1Orange

Preparation

  1. Roughly chop the red chicory and mix it with the washed mesclun salad.
  2. Quarter the figs.
  3. Toast the sunflower seeds.
  4. Pick the edible flowers.
  5. Toss the salad with some vinaigrette.
  6. Divide the salad over the plates.
  7. Finish the salad with the figs, sunflower seeds, and the rest of the vinaigrette.
  8. Grate the Parmesan cheese together with some orange zest over the salad.
  9. Scatter the flower petals playfully over the salad.
