
White Glühwein
This white mulled wine is the perfect drink for winter days or for the holidays.Ingredients
Grapefruit
Lemon
Orange
white mulled wine
mannitol
Mandarin
Rosemary sprig
Preparation
- Cut the orange, grapefruit, and lemon into small slices.
- Place the fruit slices in a heat-resistant glass.
- Heat the mulled wine to about 60°C.
- Pour the warmed mulled wine into the glass.
- Garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
- Peel the mandarin and separate the segments.
- Heat the mannitol over low heat until completely transparent.
- Skewer the mandarin segments on a wooden skewer and dip them in the hot sugar.
- Let cool on baking paper.
- Serve the candied mandarins separately with the mulled wine, on a spoon next to it.
