This beer was first aged for 18 months in PX sherry casks, followed by an additional 6 months of maturation in Tawny port casks. This double aging process develops a layered and complex character. The aromas of vanilla, floral honey, and dried plums give the beer a warm, mature impression with clear influences from both types of casks.
