Peugeot mills are distinguished by their unique grinding mechanism; a specific mill has been developed for each type of spice. It is important never to put pepper in a salt mill, as this can cause the mill to jam. The button on the top is marked with a 'P' or 'S', so you can quickly see what is inside.
The 'U-select' system allows you to continuously adjust the coarseness of the grind by turning the ring at the base of the mill. The correct setting is found immediately and does not change during grinding.
