
Energy balls with dates and almond paste

Preparation
- Place a pan on the heat and add the quinoa. Shake the pan until the quinoa starts to pop. Put the lid on the pan and keep shaking for about 3 to 5 minutes to prevent burning. When the popping subsides, the quinoa is ready.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C
- Pit the dates and cut them into small pieces.
- Put the dates in a blender and add 4 tablespoons of water. Blend until smooth (crushing in a bowl is also an option).
- Add the quinoa and Migino almond paste to the mixture.
- Chop the roasted hazelnuts into fine pieces.
- With damp hands, roll the mixture into balls.
- Roll the balls in the finely chopped hazelnuts.
- Place the balls in the oven for 10 minutes.
