Hungarian sauerkraut with sweet potato and paprika prawn crackers

200mlApple juice

15gSweet paprika powder
120gCrème fraîche

Preparation

  1. Slowly cook the onions in a pan with garlic, bell pepper, and paprika powder.
  2. Wash the sauerkraut in plenty of water. Let drain.
  3. Add the sauerkraut to the pan with apple juice and sour cream.
  4. Let simmer gently for at least 1 hour.

  1. Wash the sweet potato. Wrap in aluminum foil.
  2. Bake the potato for 1 hour at 180°C in the oven (or barbecue).
  3. Remove the foil and peel. Cut the potato into thick slices.
  4. Season the potato with pepper, salt, and olive oil.

  1. Fry the skins into prawn crackers in the fryer at 180°C.
  2. Let drain on paper.
