Sandwich with jackfruit tuna salad

Vegan tuna salad made with jackfruit served on a ciabatta roll.

Ingredients

1kgJackfruit Original
100gRed onions
35gSamphire
2units.itemsNori sheets
6units.itemsciabatta rolls
150gVegan mayonnaise
40gKetchup
60gMustard
100gdiced pickles
10gfish seasoning
2dried parsley

Preparation

  1. Cook the jackfruit for 5 minutes au bain-marie in the bag and meanwhile finely chop the samphire and onion.
  2. Shred the nori sheets and bake the rolls.
  3. Put the jackfruit in a large bowl and pull it apart with a fork.
  4. Add the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, samphire, pickle, nori, fish seasoning, parsley, and onion and mix well.
  5. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Slice open the rolls and top them with the vegan tuna salad.
