Springrolls

Delicious traditional spring roll with rice vermicelli and various types of herbs.

Ingredients

8Rice paper
70grice vermicelli
lettuce, carrot, cucumber, and spring onion in thin sticks
300groasted chicken, beef or pork in strips or 8 cooked shrimp
1torn Thai basil
1torn mint leaves
2torn coriander leaves

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice noodles in a large pan of water until done.
  2. Fill a large pan with warm water and dip the rice papers in for 2 seconds.
  3. Arrange the meat strips or shrimp over the center of the rice papers, then the rice noodles, herbs, lettuce, and vegetables. Leave about 5 cm uncovered on both sides. Fold these sides over the filling and then roll up the sheet.
